2. 1/2 cup white sugar
3. 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
4. 3 1/2 cups dry cherries
5. 2 tablespoons water
6. 2 tablespoons cornstarch

1. boil 3/four cup water, sugar, and cinnamon in a saucepan. lessen heat and simmer until sugar is dissolved, for 4 mins.add cherries; keep it to boil. reduce warmth and simmer till cherries melt,for 5 mins.
2. mix 2 tablespoons water and cornstarch together in a small bowl; pour over the cherry mixture in the saucepan. stir till thickened, 1 to 2 mins. let it cool for 10 mins. keep in container and refrigerate.
