Mint Sherbet Recipe

1. 3 cups water
2. 1 cup white sugar
3. 1 cup fresh lemon juice
4. 1 tablespoon lemon zest
5. 20 leaves fresh mint, crushed
6. 1/2 teaspoon salt
7. 1 1/2 tablespoons gelatin powder
Prep:15 Minutes, Cook:5 Minutes, Ready In:1 Hours
Directions :
1. bring water and sugar to a boil in a small saucepan to make a mild syrup. stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, mint leaves, and salt. take away from warmth; stir in gelatin powder. allow syrup cool absolutely, about 20 minutes.
2. freeze syrup within the ice cream maker in line with producer’s instructions, about 20 minutes. spoon into tall glasses.
