1. 1 (7 ounce) package spaghetti
2. 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
3. 1 red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
4. 8 pods okra, cut into bite-sized pieces
5. 2 tablespoons soy sauce
6. 1 tablespoon sake
7. 1 tablespoon mirin (Japanese sweet rice wine)
8. 2 ounces sakura (cherry) shrimp

Directions :
1. bring a huge pot of gently salted water to a boil. cook spaghetti within the boiling water, stirring occasionally, till tender yet company to the chunk, about 12 minutes. drain, reserving three tablespoons of the cooking water.
