Chicken in Garlic and Black Bean Sauce Recipe

1. Marinade:
2. 1 tablespoon cornstarch
3. 1 tablespoon water
4. 1 tablespoon soy sauce
5. 1 1/2 teaspoons white sugar
6. 1 teaspoon salt
7. 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, sliced
8. 1 cup bean sprouts
9. 1/4 cup water
10. Sauce:
11. 2 teaspoons oyster sauce
12. 1 teaspoon white sugar
13. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
14. 3 tablespoons black bean sauce with garlic
15. 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
16. 1 onion, finely sliced
17. 1/2 teaspoon salt
18. 1/2 bell pepper, chopped
19. 2 teaspoons cornstarch
20. 1 tablespoon water
Prep:15 Minutes, Cook:15 Minutes, Ready In:50 Minutes
Directions :
1. mix 1 tablespoon cornstarch with 1 tablespoon water together in a bowl. stir in soy sauce, sugar, and 1 teaspoon salt. add fowl; toss to mix. let stand to marinate, about 20 minutes.
2. bring water to a boil in a saucepan. upload bean sprouts; prepare dinner simply till blanched, approximately 30 seconds; drain.
3. combine 1/4 cup water, oyster sauce, and sugar collectively in a small bowl.
4. heat vegetable oil in a skillet over high warmth. upload black bean sauce and garlic; prepare dinner and stir until fragrant, 2 to a few minutes. add onion and 1/2 teaspoon salt; cook dinner and stir till tender, three to 4 minutes. add marinated chicken; stir-fry until opaque and cooked via, three to 4 mins. stir in oyster sauce mixture; cook until heated through, 1 to 2 mins. cover and simmer till flavors mixture, about 3 minutes. stir in bell pepper; cowl and cook till softened, 1 to 2 minutes. dissolve 2 teaspoons cornstarch in 1 tablespoon water. stir in bean sprouts and cornstarch aggregate; prepare dinner till sauce is thickened, 2 to a few mins greater.
