Butter Chicken Chickpeas Recipe

1. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2. 1/4 teaspoon salt
3. 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
4. 1/2 onion, chopped
5. 1 red bell pepper, chopped
6. 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
7. 2 cloves garlic, minced
8. 1/2 cup water
9. 2 (15 ounce) cans chickpeas, drained and rinsed
10. 1 (400 mL) jar Patak’s Butter Chicken Cooking Sauce
11. 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
12. red chili pepper flakes (optional)
Prep:10 Minutes, Cook:20 Minutes, Ready In:30 Minutes
Directions :
1. heat oil in big dutch oven or huge saucepan over medium-excessive warmth.
2. upload onion and crimson pepper and saute until onions are translucent.
3. upload chickpeas, garlic, and ginger and saute for two mins. upload water and cook dinner, stirring for 3 to 5 minutes.
4. stir in patak’s butter chook cooking sauce, salt, and pepper, and produce to a simmer. prepare dinner blanketed, stirring from time to time, for 5 to eight minutes.
5. garnish with cilantro and red chilli peppers (elective).
